Welcome to the "Festival de la glisse", One of the biggest extreme sports festival in France. Featuring a huge line up of air, land and water based outdoor shows with the most prestigious international riders, this Mauna Kea's event takes place over 2 days on Coutainville seafront. We offer a lot of extremes demonstrations of Kite surfing, windsurfing, skaboarding, BMXing, and also various incredible sports.
You will see great demonstations involving some top pro like Alex Coleborn, Mark Webb, Ben Wallace, Terry Price, Danny Aldridge, Taïg Khris, Yannick Chauvel...
And we are proud to have organised various 'come and have a go' sessions with activities for all the family to participate.

ON the 7th of January 1996 , some skimboarders from Normandy (Jérôme Laisney, Yann et Gilles Renault, Hervé Ledoux, Thomas Laisney, Sébastien Aline, Ludovic Grould...) created Mauna Kea. Since that day, Mauna Kea has done lots of actions to promote water sports in Normandy.
